Marrow seed oil is acknowledged  as mineralising, tonic and stimulating oil.

The oil is rather dark, greenisch, particularly rich in essential fatty acids (those that the body cannot produce by itself and should be in power), especially in Omega-6 and Omega-9. Its first medical use is its anti-inflammatory action in case of enlarged prostate, sterols will decrease the growth of prostate tissue, it is linoleic acid that plays a role in inflammation. Its composition makes it particularly recommended during pregnancy or nursing. The oil is rich in trace elements (iron, copper, zinc, managnese) and vitamins E, B and C. It has also a role of prevention of caries, the healing of ulcers in the recalcification. It is also recommended in case of digestive diseases for these protective mucilage (ulcertaice colitis, Crohn's disease for example).

Squash belong to the Cucurbitaceae family. The term is generic, it means a whole fruit such as pumpkin, squash, gourds, zucchini. Pumpkin seeds are oilseeds, there are grouped in the center of the fruit. Vegetable oil is extracted by cold pressing of seeds. Not to be used for cooking but for use in seasoning or any other raw use. It should be kept preferably in the refrigerator. It is very fragrant and the taste of the seed can be found in miwtures aperitifs alongside salted sunflower seeds, walnuts, peanuts etc ...
