As a producer of 100% organic oils, BIOPRESS commits itself to the development of partnerships with the French agricultural industry while trying to reduce the import of oleaginous seeds.
Yet, the import of some seeds may be possible.
To ensure high quality and tracability standards, BIOPRESS works with well-known business players that are regularly audited and comply to our product specifications.
Our quality system is thoroughly investigated each year by the French Ecocert control organization and regularly audited by French and international customers.
Due to the respect of a thoroughly-made analytical plan and meticulous quality controls on raw materials, we are able to ensure a high level of quality products and secure our goods by controlling all supplying sources.

In the coming weeks you'll be able to encounter huge changes in your organic shops : yes, indeed, it's been a while since we, at Biopress, were willing to change our labels.
Our labels have now a color cod,e so it's easier for you to catch them in your shops !
This changes of labels occured on our whole range of bottles : 0,25 L/0,5 L/1 L and on our 2,5L/5 L cans too.
So hurry up, and discover them in you nearest shop in April ! |
2 of our organic oils namely the 'walnut oil' and the 'pumpkin seeds oil' have each been nominated and receveid a Groumet award during the AVPA, an organic oil show, on the 29 & 30 th of March at the MDD trade show in Paris.
A panel of French gastronomic cooks and oil lovers have tested a while range of different type of oils. All have worked to identify and determine which oils seemed the most interesting.
Our organic pumpkin oil has been particularly appreciated and described as "very faithful to the seed of the pumpkin".
Our organic walnut oil has been characterized as "very faithful to the fresh walnut, pleasant and with a slight bitter aftertaste".
These first distinctions rewards the efforts of our team to provide quality products.

A new reference was just added to our "Gourmet" product range : the organic flax oil.
Particularly rich in Omega 3, it will be a perfect oil to use for the dressing of your salads.

In 2010, Biopress wishes to get even close to its final consumer and decided to restructure its range.
Our new range consists of 4 classes of organic oils :
'The Basics' of Biopress : your day-to-day organic oils ! Includes some well known flavours (olive, sunflower, rapeseed), some lesser-known (safflower, marrow seed) but all of them providing speecific supplements, all of which are essential.
As our oils are also tasty, enjoy our 'Gourmet Series'; orginal and flavourful oils that give a whimsical to your meals and exalt your taste buds!
To help you enjoy the benefits of every one of our oils with no fuss, BIOPRESS has developed a full range of blends, the 'Balanced Diet Specials'; for use in seasoning !
Lastly, Biopress provides you with its range of oils devoted to cooking and frying, 'The Practical Series'. For your comfort and in order to preserve the flavour of your recipes, these oils have been deodorised using water steam. They have neither taste nor smell, and will allow you to cook 'healthy'.
To ease the reading, a color code was applied to each of our classes of oil. Wihtout further delay, find them quickly on our new brochure !

For the first time, Biopress participated in the Biovak trade show that took place on the 19th & 20th of January in Zwolle, Holland.

On February 8, 2010, the European Commission has officially released the logo chosen by internet users at the end of the contest for the creation of the new European logo for organic products.
This new logo called 'Euro-leaf' can be applied on products :
- that contain at least 95 % ingredients from organic farming,
- that comply with the control and certification system,
- that bear the producer name, processor or distributor, and the name or code of the certification institution.
And its display is mandatory since 1 July 2010 on the new labels of prepackaged foods.
